Mrs. Gray and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary yesterday. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife. God has given us 4 precious children who love God and are doing an excellent job of parenting themselves. Thank you Lord! The truth is I would not want to start over again for fear of making too many mistakes. Our two sons, Bob and Scott, are both preachers of the Gospel. Our two daughters, Kim and Karen, are both women preachers! Ha! If you don’t believe me just ask their husbands and children? God has given us ten beautiful grandchildren. I love going soul winning with them and watch them as they lead folks to Christ. GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!
I was surprised when I looked at my schedule for this next trip. I do not have to leave the house until ten this morning. WOW! My body still woke me up at 6! Shucks couldn’t make myself sleep in! I will be flying out of Longview, Texas, to DFW and then on to Indianapolis, Indiana. I will be preaching for the first time for Pastor Whitworth who pastors the Faith Baptist Church of Plymouth, Indiana. I have known Pastor Whitworth for many years as an assistant pastor. He has a wonderful family and is a great soul winner. I will be teaching Sunday school and preaching Sunday morning and Sunday night. He has also a rally scheduled for Monday night at 7 pm. If you are in the area please make plans to attend. It will be an exciting time!
God has given me a blessed week with 11 souls trusting Christ. I have 4 lined up for baptism tomorrow. I called several last night and reminded them of their promise to come Sunday. This is so exciting! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!
