I will be driving to Bethany, Oklahoma, to preach for Pastor Charley O’Daniel. He pastors the Maranatha Baptist Church. My son Scott preached for this dear brother and was excited about this church. This will be my first time to preach for this man of God and I am looking forward to being with him and his people. Thank God for these men of God! I was up at 3 am on Wednesday preparing to fly home. I went down to the lobby to check out and I met a young man by the name of Joses. He works the midnight shift and was very tired. He told me he was going to go home and go to bed. I talked to him for a little bit and began to talk about there being a rest in Jesus that is far more restful than a bed. He listened and in a few minutes after going over a lot of Scripture he bowed his head and asked Christ to be the payment for all of his sins. WOW! I called him this morning and he is going to go to church and take some of his family with him. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!
