PREACHING IN ALABAMA

scpUncategorizedLeave a Comment

I am preaching just outside of Mobile, Alabama, at Spanish Fort, Alabama. I will be preaching for one of our TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE graduates Pastor Richard Ullo. He pastors the BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH of Spanish Fort. He graduated from TBC with the 1999 class and has been pastor here for 2 1/2 years.

He and his dear wife were heading up LONGVIEW BAPTIST TEMPLE’S Deaf Ministry for years and are very good soul winners. He has also scheduled a Monday night meeting at 7 p.m.  If you are in the area I hope you will take time to attend the service. I would love to see you there.

I hope you and yours have a great Christmas with your families. This is a great time of the year for the family to get together, but it is also a time to remember what this season is all about. Someone said to me,”Jesus was not born in the month of December. It was more around April or May.” Ok, scrooge then celebrate it in April or May. Ha! The one who should receive the greatest gift of all is the one whose birthday it is. Guess Who? Do not forget to give Jesus the biggest gift of all for he gave us the biggest gift of all!

I went to bed with Michigan State leading Wisconsin and woke up to find out they gave the game away to Wisconsin. What in the world? I called the coach this morning and he told me that it was because they spent too much time on their Sunday school bus routes in preparation for their big day on Sunday. Yuk! Arkansas loses to LSU and Alabama. These are the last days for sure.  This is the beginning of a great falling away. Now we have to watch a boring LSU and Alabama rematch! Yuk!  GOTTA LOVE FOOTBALL!
