Mrs. Gray |
Altar Call |
Sunday Morning |
Pastor Dan Suttles |
This morning I preached at the LIBERTY BAPTIST CHURCH of Pigeon Forge, TN, for one of our TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE graduates Pastor Dan Suttles. This is a man who surrendered to the ministry when he was 44 and left home to attend college. He was not a young man but he knew God’s calling on him was for real. He has been pastoring here for two years and what a great crowd God gave him this morning. The building was packed with people.
I taught my lesson on “FORGIVENESS” for Sunday school and preached my sermon “WHO SHALL BE DAMNED?” God gave us 10 precious souls this morning. The altar was full and the service was certainly filled with the Spirit of God.
Mrs. Gray was able to make it for preaching. The church was so kind to provide her a very comfortable Queen Ann Occasional Chair to sit in. I took Mrs. Gray to the famous “Partridge In The Pear Tree Restaurant” across the street from the motel. By the time we arrived back at the motel her ankles were almost doubled in size because of swelling.
I will be preaching tonight at 6 pm and Monday night at 7 pm. If you are in the area I hope you will make plans to attend Monday night. Several churches in the area are planning on being here for the Monday night service and I would love to see you here with them. GOTTA LOVE PREACHING!
