I preached tonight at the GOSPEL LIGHT BAPTIST CHURCH of Manchester, NH. The auditorium was full and the altar was also full at the invitation time!
I preached tonight my sermon “GOD’S SIMPLE PLAN FOR A SOUL WINNING CHURCH” out of Luke 14:12-24.
1) Make church a feast
2) Call the poor
3) Do not expect the converts to pay the bills
4) Trust God to pay the bills
5) Prepare for the converts
6) Remove the converts’ excuses
7) Bring your own converts to church
8) Turn your bidding into compelling
Proverbs 26:2 says the curse causeless shall not come. In other words there is a reason! In the Scripture we have what I call “cause and affect.” For every affect there is a corresponding cause. God has a recipe book called the Bible! We seem to relish making the things of God hard instead of easy. God has a simple plan for a soul winning church. GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!
