Smaller churches. Pastor should do everything at first. Organize like it was a large church. Use faithful laymen. Let a faithful laymen lead each area. Meet with them weekly. Be your own youth director. The first paid staff person should be the maintenance man. Avoid cliches. Be a friend to everyone and THE friend of no one.
